Hi everyone,

My name is Ashleigh and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother Zach, my sister-in-law Madison, and their beautiful newborn baby, Lilith.

On June 5th, Lily was born at only 24 weeks gestation, far too soon but already showing the strength of a warrior. Weighing just 1lb 13.9oz she was immediately taken to the NICU for what doctors expect to be a long and challenging stay. Every day brings new hurdles—breathing support, feeding tubes, countless tests, and uncertainty. But it also brings hope, strength, and small miracles.

This has been a heartbreaking and overwhelming time for our family. Watching my brother and sister-in-law navigate the fear and uncertainty of the NICU is something I’ll never forget. They spend every possible moment by Lily’s side—holding tiny fingers, praying through the alarms, celebrating the smallest milestones.

But the emotional toll is just one part of the struggle. The financial burden is becoming more than they can carry. Medical bills, time off work (Zach has no paternity leave and Madison only has 6weeks), travel expenses to and from the hospital, and basic living costs are piling up while they focus on being parents during the fight of their lives.

I’m starting this GoFundMe because I believe in the power of community, love, and showing up when people need it most.
