My son's best friend, Yousif Asif, passed away on Friday, July 2nd. He was a joyful and funny student of the Charlottesville City Schools; no one could make my son laugh harder. His sudden passing has left us all in sorrow, but the unimaginable grief of Yousif's family is why we created this GoFundMe. Yousif is survived by his mother, Shatha, his older brother Abdullah, and his twin sister, Rahma. Yousif's father passed away in 2011. His family could use our help to pay for funeral expenses and to have a sense of security as they grieve.
