Recently, Dalton became ill with flu like symptoms. Almost a week into these severe flu like symptoms he was admitted to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center after becoming obstructively Jaundice. He was in the hospital from Friday (Veterans Day) until he was discharged the following Wednesday. During his stay in the hospital he underwent numerous blood cultures, X-rays, an MRI, and a CT scan to help determine the cause of his symptoms.
After the CT scan the doctors found a spot on his lung that requires a biopsy. When he went to the Cancer Treatment Center for his follow up appointment the day after he was discharged the specialist informed him that there was a 50/50 chance the nodule could be caused by a rare auto immune disorder called Sarcoidosis that effects your major organs or it could be caused by a type of Lymphoma. The biopsy will give us more insight on what the nodule is. He is scheduled for surgery on Monday, November 21st at Samaritan Medical Center.

We are asking mainly for positive thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. We have a one year old daughter and are expecting our second child, a son, to be born on December 25th. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help with any medical expenses and travel required considering he hasn't been able to work and will be off for a period of time after the procedure. With the holiday season around the corner it is understood if a donation cannot be made, therefore prayers are equally as helpful.
