Hello friends,

The Roberts family is going through a terrible time in their lives right now. Carrington, their 11 year old daughter, has struggled with chronic illness since she was three years old and has recently been diagnosed with a new illness. In addition to their every 3 week trips to Seattle for her life saving infusions, they are now facing not one, but possibly two surgeries to help improve her health.

Anyone that knows Carrington knows two things about her: she loves pigs and she has a bubbly, charismatic personality that you can't help but fall in love with. She has perfected the mask she wears, to not let outsiders see all the pain and struggles she faces on a daily basis.

Molly, Carrington's mom, is unable to work due to taking Carrington to all her appointments and being in Seattle every 3 weeks for two to four days at a time. In addition, last year, Carrington's dad lost his job and was out of work for more than half of the year. During that time, the family's savings were drained from all of Carrington's medical expenses and trips to Seattle Children's Hospital.

While her dad has a job now, they still have a lot of medical debt that continues to rack up. Insurance doesn't cover the gas needed to get to and from Seattle, the hotel, or food. When they go up to Seattle for her surgery the week of Halloween, they will have to stay in an AirBNB close to the hospital for at least two weeks.
