Hello from the William Havu Gallery. We are fundraising for one of our artists Yoshitomo Saito who recently was involved in a serious accident. Gallery owner Bill Havu explains.

 

"Yoshi Saito whose bronze loop, "Gateway" (photo is of Yoshi and the loop) was sold and installed on the same day of the accident a few weeks ago. He is currently sedated, on a ventilator and recovering from a broken back, broken femur and pneumonia.

 

He needs our help. It would be a tragedy if the proceeds he received from this sale were immediately consumed by medical bills. Yoshi will most certainly be out of commission and unable to make work for some time to come.

 

We are all pulled in many directions financially right now and many we know need help. Yoshi hasn't lost his home, but he has lost his ability to make a living, provide for his wife and to be a creative person. This is serious stuff. Please help if you can. " - Bill Havu
