Yianni is the heart of our family—a funny, generous, and kind man who lights up every room he enters. For years, he has been the sole provider for our household of four: my mom, myself, and my young son. His laughter and warmth have always brought us comfort, and he’s the kind of person people love from the moment they meet him.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Yianni was diagnosed with high grade glioma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He underwent brain surgery and now faces a challenging road ahead with chemotherapy and radiation. Right now, we are waiting for more biopsies and treatment options, which has left us feeling anxious and uncertain about what comes next. With him unable to work, all the household bills have fallen on me. As a single mom with no other support, I am struggling to keep up with medical expenses, daily bills, and making sure we have a safe and stable home.

We are reaching out for help to cover the costs of Yianni’s medical treatments, a stair climber to help him move safely in our home, and the essentials that keep our family afloat—like food, utilities, and mortgage. I also hope to give him some happy times and comfort as he faces this journey.
