Our wonderful friend and colleague, Yesenia Loera, lost her spouse, Vincent Delgado, unexpectedly from a surgical complication on Wednesday night, August 28th. Vince is well known to many of us as a loving and involved father, with two kiddos still at home, as well as grown children already out of the house.

Many of us have benefitted from Yesenia and Vince's friendship and generosity of spirit over the years (and Vince's willingness to feed us tacos and homemade salsa!) and now it's our turn to support Yesenia as she navigates this life change. After the loss of a spouse, there are always extra expenses and time away from work. Our hope is to defray the costs of the funeral and time away from work to allow them to grieve and start the healing process without excess financial hardship and stress from lost income and extra expenses.
