On March 18th, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when Isaiah, my beloved son, passed away due to complications from his kidney. Isaiah received his transplant at just 16 years old, and although it gave him many more years with us, his health declined last year. Isaiah leaves behind his devoted wife, Yazmin, and their young daughter, Nyssa. We never planned to fundraise, but Isaiah’s co-workers and friends encouraged us to create this page so that those who loved him—and even those who didn’t know him—could help Yazmin and Nyssa through this difficult time. Isaiah was not only a transplant recipient, but also an organ donor. The same hospital that gave him a second chance at life has now helped him give that gift to others; we’ve been told his donation may save up to 50 lives. We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer as Yazmin and Nyssa navigate this heartbreaking transition and honor Isaiah’s legacy.
