Support for Yazir Tickles' Memorial Fund

While home on break from Mohawk Valley Community College, my nephew Yazir Tickles, was tragically and unexpectedly taken away from us.

Many knew Yaz from playing basketball, a sport he excelled in and loved. He played on multiple teams throughout his life and was excited about his opportunity to play at the college level in the fall.

Yaz was known and loved by many, and his death has been extremely painful for our family. As we have already had to bury Yaz’s two older brothers in 2018 and 2021, both of whom were taken to soon by guns.

We are reaching out to our community and friends for support during this difficult time. The funds raised will be used for the funeral and memorial expenses. We are eternally grateful for any contribution you can make, no matter how small.
