My son Xavier was born in February of 2025, just eight days after I turned 21. From the very beginning, it’s been a challenge to keep up, but we’ve always found a way to make it work—until now. Recently, my job cut my hours down to just six a week, and it’s become exceptionally hard to stay stocked on diapers, wipes, and clothes as Xavier grows so quickly. On top of that, rent and food costs keep adding up, making it even harder to provide for him.
We don’t have a car, which makes getting to the doctor, dentist, daycare, work, and places that are important for Xavier’s development really difficult. Our family lives three to four towns away and works five to seven days a week, so we’ve been feeling pretty lonely. I’d love to take Xavier to the children’s museum and other places where he can socialize and learn, but with money being so tight, it’s just not possible right now.
Any funds we receive will go directly toward the things Xavier urgently needs—diapers, wipes, clothes, and other essentials. If there’s anything left over, it will be saved for Xavier’s future. The help will also let me get a break to help me focus on finding other higher paying jobs and spending more time enrolling in school. Receiving help from others would give us a little bit of relief and ease the stress and anxiety for a moment so we can all breathe. No matter how much someone can help, it will be extremely appreciated to keep Xavier safe, healthy, happy, and in the best care he can be.
