With a heavy heart, I share that God called my father, Woody (Haywood Blair), home on December 2, 2025. My dad never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. If he could help you in any way, he would. He was a selfless man who lived to care for his family and worked tirelessly—an ironworker who believed the job was never done.
Woody was truly special, loved by many, and unlike any other. If you knew him, you experienced unconditional love, laughter, and his generous spirit. Whether skating, playing pool, or spending time with family and friends, his smile was always present.
I find peace knowing he knew the Lord, and I am confident he is resting with Him now. As his only child, I want to honor my dad with the memorial service he deserves. Your support will not only help celebrate his life but also assist with the ongoing care of my 94-year-old grandfather, whom my dad lovingly cared for.
Any donation, prayer, or comforting call is deeply appreciated during this time. Thank you for standing with me as I strive to honor my dad—a man who always looked out for others. Your love and support mean the world.
Forever Daddy’s girl,
Christina (Shorty)
