Support for Navy Veteran Kai Wong Family's Recovery Journey

On behalf of Kai & Brittney Wong, and the Kids, we have started this Go Fund Me.

On Saturday, June 22, while vacationing in Mexico, the Wong family was involved in a horrific automobile accident at the hands of their taxi driver.

The family of 5 survived the crash and sends prayers to the other family who lost a loved one.

Brittney has already undergone major surgery for several compound fractures in both legs and will be in the hospital for a month, with long term recovery needed. Kai had a collapsed lung and several broken ribs- with no idea how long he will be hospitalized and evolving medical issues , the oldest of their three children is still in the hospital with injuries and the other two were treated and released from medical care.

Peggy (Brittney's mom) was able to get to Mexico within 24 hours of being contacted and has been able to see everyone. Kai’s mother and aunt have also now been able to get there to be with everyone.

As you can imagine this is never something you foresee when you set off to enjoy your family vacation and the fact that they are thousands of miles from home complicates this situation even more. The expense to get them relocated from the Mexican hospital back to a Florida hospital where they can receive more optimum care is $25,000 per person.

We're looking for anything to help the family in this time. Peggy will be bringing the kids back this week and have full care of them along with trying to make arrangements for Britney and Kai.
