Support for Wonder Lake Wiffle Ball League

Hi everyone,

You may not know, but our town has an entire wiffle ball league run by all members of the local high schools. With our fourth season upcoming, we have realized we will need additional funds (which lots of high school boys don't have) to keep our league functioning better than ever. Our goal is to raise $600 total to cover all expenses and have a great upcoming year! The funds will be used as follows:

-New Jerseys: We have used the same jerseys (pretty much shirts with numbers on them) for the past three years. We are looking to raise about $400 to help reduce the cost each person must pay for the jerseys. We hope these jerseys, which are made of a higher quality material, will be able to last us for many years to come.

-Fence Repairs: Just like the jerseys, we have had the same fencing for the past three years as well. We have slightly repaired the fence year after year, but we would love to be able to upgrade it so we can have a better experience overall. We are looking to raise $100 for new fencing.

-Field Improvements: Over the years, our fence has improved, but some parts are in rough shape with patchy grass and bumpy parts. We are looking to lay down seed and sand to help restore and flatten the grass so we have a better experience overall. We are looking to raise $50 for the field.

-Tripod & Other: We've been able to record us playing for the past three years, but our tripod has been broken the whole time. We look to use some funds to buy a new tripod. We also consistently need to buy new bats and balls as the balls easily break and bats get bent. We also may look to buy new chairs as many have broken as well. Overall, we hope to raise about $50 for these expenses.
