Willie Lambert was my younger brother, and his sudden passing on Thursday, March 26, 2026, has left a deep hole in our hearts—for our family and for everyone who knew and loved him. Ten years ago, Willie suffered two strokes—ischemic and hemorrhagic—but he never let that define him or slow him down. His strength, kindness, and love for others never wavered. He remained a constant source of warmth and support, always ready with a smile no matter what challenges he faced. Today is Willie’s birthday, which makes this loss even more difficult. If anyone would like to give him a final birthday gift in his honor, we ask that you consider contributing to this fundraiser in his memory.
As our parents navigate this incredibly difficult time, I’m reaching out to our community for support. Due to Willie’s past and ongoing health challenges, the family was left with very little financial resources. The funds raised will go directly to our parents to help cover funeral expenses and ease some of the burden they are now facing. Every contribution, no matter the amount, means more than words can express. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with others who knew Willie would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support during this heartbreaking time. Your generosity means so much to my parents, our family, and to all of us who loved him.
