Update:
William "Willie" LeClerc, 63, passed away on July 7, 2025, in Lake City, Florida. Born on June 29, 1962, in Michigan, he brought light and laughter to every room he entered and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Willie was known for his booming voice and even bigger personality. He had a gift for storytelling that could turn any gathering into a celebration. His sense of humor was infectious the kind that made people laugh until their sides hurt and his ability to make strangers feel like lifelong friends was unmatched. Whether you knew him for five minutes or fifty years, Willie had a way of making you feel like family.

A man of great heart and hands-on talent, Willie spent his life building not just structures, but relationships and memories. He poured his energy into everything he created, always with love and care. That same passion became a legacy he passed down to his daughter Gabriella LeClerc, teaching her how to build, fix, and create with the same dedication that defined his life.

Willie's presence was magnetic. He was goofy, full of jokes, and never without a story to share. His laughter brought people together; his warmth made them stay. Those who knew him will remember the joy he spread simply by being himself loud, loving, and full of life.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Gabriella LeClerc; Wife Jennifer LeClerc; brothers Steve LeClerc (wife Edna) of Alaska, Marshall LeClerc, Jim (wife Karen) of Indiana, Pete (wife Bridget) of Michigan, Neil LeClerc (wife Kelly) of Michigan; sisters Denise Bemis (husband Greg) of Florida, Marie Heath (husband Mike) of Michigan, Janie Price (husband Ken); as well as many nieces, nephews, and in-laws who cherished him deeply.

Willie was preceded in death by his sisters Susan Vinokurow and Julie; and sister-in-law Cindy LeClerc.

May the memory of William "Willie" LeClerc bring comfort to those who loved him and continue to inspire laughter and connection in the lives he touched.

My beloved brother, William “Willie” LeClerc, is only 62 years old and has always been full of life. Sadly, he has now been in the ICU for 29 days. Over the past year, Willie has been in and out of the hospital, but his condition has worsened significantly over the last six months, leaving him unable to work or do much of anything.

Willie is currently battling a number of serious health conditions, including congestive heart failure on the right side, COPD, double pneumonia, AFib, and edema. It’s been an overwhelming and emotional journey for all of us, and your prayers are truly appreciated.
This GoFundMe was created to support our family as we come to terms with his condition and face some incredibly hard decisions. Along with the emotional toll, we’re managing significant financial burdens — including ongoing medical expenses, the cost of his future care, and frequent travel to and from the hospital, which is over an hour away each way.

If you're able to help in any way, it would mean the world to us. Your kindness will go directly toward easing these burdens so we can focus on being there for Willie.

Thank you for your support, generosity, and continued prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
