Support for William (Will) Smith's Final Journey
Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 5th, William (Will) Smith suffered a severe cardiac event described as cardiogenic shock and unfortunately has been on life support and unresponsive since. According to his doctors, he has experienced lack of oxygen to his brain for an extended period of time and unfortunately the decision has been made to withdraw care this afternoon. In his life, Will made the selfless decision to become an organ donor and fortunately he is eligible to donate at least one organ to help someone else live their life to their fullest. While it is a sad day for his family and friends, we are finding comfort in the fact that he is able to share such a gift with someone else.
William was an avid biker and AV specialist. Any time the weather would allow you could find him on his Harley, enjoying the weather and scenery. He made many friends on his rides and adventures. He also enjoyed traveling the country with his AV team. You could find him working hard behind the scenes so people could enjoy various shows. He was a great leader, kind friend, and wonderful partner.
William unfortunately did not have insurance (medical or life) and this fundraiser has been organized to help offset some of the incurring costs that come with an emergency such as this. Any donation is much appreciated and will be used to help cover the cost of his final wishes and medical expenses, as well as helping support his family that has been by his side since Wednesday.
