On July 3, 2024, William was involved in a serious auto accident on his way home from work. He initially was transported to the hospital and returned home with non life-threatening injuries. Over the last week, the seriousness of his injuries have begun to show themselves, and the effects are starting to be seen. William will be off work for an undetermined amount of time as he undergoes physical and cognitive therapies and treatments for his injuries. Their family situation is also complex with a special needs child and a mom who is only able to work one day a week and will now have more to juggle.

While the family initially did not want to ask for help, the situation has changed as insurance will not be available for some time. Answers to the nature of the accident and investigations are still forthcoming. We know they are so grateful for everyone who has reached out and checked on them during this difficult time. If you can help relieve some of the financial stress for them, we know they will be forever grateful.

We are asking you to help support this family with the medical and day to day expenses, as well as to help cover his lost income while William is off work recovering. The family is not looking to profit from this terrible incident, and any funds remaining when insurance settles will be donated to others in a similar time of need.
