In Loving Memory of William M. Anderson

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved son, brother, husband, and father, William, who left us just a few days ago.

William was the kind of person who was a friend to everyone. He showed kindness even when it wasn’t deserved, lifted people up without expecting anything in return, and carried a positivity that could light up any room. He was truly the life of the party, always smiling, always joking, always making others laugh, even during times when he was quietly carrying his own pain.

He had a rare gift with kids. He knew exactly how to meet them at their level, letting his inner child shine through with silliness, playfulness, and genuine joy. Kids naturally gravitated toward him, and he loved every moment of making them laugh and feel seen.

Creatively, William was brilliant. He was a talented producer and musician with a deep love for sound, creativity, and self expression. He was also a huge gamer at heart, especially when it came to Halo and video games. One of our favorite memories is when he designed a custom video game as a birthday gift, a Pac Man style game reimagined with a rave theme. That was who he was, thoughtful, creative, and always finding unique ways to bring joy to the people he loved.

He had a sense of humor that was unforgettable, full of silly dad jokes and playful remarks that left your stomach hurting from laughter. Even on hard days, he showed up with a smile and made sure others felt okay before worrying about himself.

William is survived by his loving wife, Michaela Smith, and his young son, Mason, who is 5 years old. He is also survived by his parents and 11 siblings, all of whom loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward.
