Support for Willen's Family After Tragic Loss

I can’t even believe I’m writing this right now. On 5/6/2025 at 8:34 pm, I got the last FaceTime from my husband where he said he’d be home in 20 minutes. At 9:17 pm, he was in a motorcycle crash that ended his life. Doctors spent 3 hours trying to bring him back. The accident sent him into a vehicle, and the impact killed him. Broken spine, spleen, fractured ribs, ruptured lung, and kidney. He was only 38 and was just getting started in life, leaving behind 3 boys (12, 3, and 16 months) who were following his every move.

Willen was an amazing man who provided, protected, and cared for just anyone in his presence. He was the guy that gave the shirt off his back and risked his own life to save others. The most selfless human being I’ve ever known. His boys are going to miss building, biking, fishing, nerf battles, and movie nights with their hero.

No day will ever be the same without him!

Willen leaving us at this untimely tragedy brings us to ask the community for help. Now, as a widow and mother of his 3 boys, I’m sure you all can understand the financial burden. We own a home that I would love to continue to raise our children in. It’d be nice to get the boys in some activities to keep their little minds busy, put together a celebration of life event, and of course, provide essentials while we grieve and prepare for life ahead with him watching over us.
