Will White, a 6th grader in Guilford County NC, recently received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. He is battling a rare, high-grade sarcoma with small nodules in his lungs. His family is facing a journey no parent or child should ever have to walk — one filled with unknowns, constant challenges, and difficult decisions.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Will’s mom, Ashley, is also fighting her own cancer battle at the same time. This family is carrying two absolutely unimaginable loads at once!

Will has begun an intensive 28-week chemotherapy protocol at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. He is currently inpatient for his chemotherapy infusions and care. Because of the aggressive nature of his treatment, Will and his Mom have relocated to St. Jude’s on-campus family housing and are expected to be there for at least eight months.

Funds raised will directly support the family during this extended time away from home, including daily living expenses while based in Memphis and any additional support needs that arise.

St. Jude shares its breakthroughs freely with doctors and researchers worldwide — so every child helped there contributes to saving thousands more around the globe.
