Waqia Kareem is a non-binary artist and scholar based in New York. Due to lack of adequate healthcare in this country Waqia is without dental insurance. Recently they been having some complications with their teeth and subsequently are in need of two root canals. While they can afford to cover some of the out of pocket cost, they can not cover the entire procedure alone. 

A reoccurring tooth infection needs medical attention ASAP and has caused them pain, financial stress and missed job opportunities.
