My name is Sway, and I’m raising funds for my family after the sudden passing of my husband, whom I shared 32 years of marriage with.

Just six weeks ago, our lives changed forever. We had no idea my husband was seriously ill until he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Everything happened so quickly—from diagnosis, to hospitalizations, to complications we never saw coming. In a matter of weeks, our family went from preparing for the holidays to preparing to say goodbye.

His health declined rapidly, and despite medical care, he passed away far sooner than we ever imagined. Losing him so suddenly has been devastating. He leaves behind a loving family—5 children and 14 grandchildren—who are all grieving the loss of a father, grandfather, and the man who held our family together.

With Christmas only days away, our family is not financially prepared for funeral and memorial expenses, medical bills, and the many costs that come with laying a loved one to rest. This was not something we were prepared for, especially during what is meant to be a season of joy and togetherness.

We are asking for support to help ease this burden so our family can focus on grieving, healing, and honoring my husband’s life and legacy.
