Support & Justice for 'peacemaker' Samir Dauti
The ‘peacemaker’ who was fatally stabbed is Samir Dauti. Anyone who knew Samir knows that he had the biggest heart a man could have. The incident occurred 01/26/2021 early Tuesday morning and the murderer is Jarvis Terrel Miles. Detectives said the victim, 33-year-old Samir Dauti, tried to intervene in the fight as a "peacemaker," but was stabbed by Miles. They said Dauti was not involved in the original altercation. Police said Miles was one of three men involved in an incident that led to the death of 33-year-old Samir Dauti. Dauti wasn’t involved in the fight himself, police said. Instead, he was a “peacemaker” who tried to break up an altercation between Miles, Christopher Pittman and Shannon Carias. That’s when police say Miles pulled out a knife and stabbed Dauti. Dauti was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital, where he passed away within an hour of his arrival.
Jarvis Miles, 34, was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on Thursday night 01/28/2021, police said. He faces a charge of second-degree murder. Officials said Miles has been arrested nearly a dozen times in Pinellas County since 2008.
The funds will be used for funeral costs and medical expenses. Any funds received beyond the funeral costs and medical expenses will go to a charity organization that will be created or dedicated on Samir Dauti’s behalf. We haven’t ironed out the details yet, but we are thinking of dedicating that organization in Samir Dauti’s name to help end violence. Any help in donations and or sharing of my brothers gofundme you could provide would be dearly appreciated.
- We miss him so much
