Support for Whitney Ypma and Family

On September 29, Rob Ypma was rushed to the hospital with a severe acute pancreatitis that led to cardiac arrest and anoxic brain injury, and was admitted to ICU. Unfortunately, on October 7, Rob passed away, leaving behind his wife, Whitney, and their two young children, James and Claire.
Rob was deeply loved for his outgoing and positive personality, and his unique ability to build relationships and engage in meaningful conversations. He always made everyone feel special and has left a hole in many hearts and lives.
Rob and Whitney have been part of our small group Bible study at Bethany Chapel in Calgary. Over the past several years, we have shared the many joys and challenges that we have encountered along the way. It has been a privilege to know this family!
Many people have expressed a desire to help in any way possible. This page has been set up as a tangible way to help Whitney, James and Claire, and show love and support for their family. This is also an opportunity for those living far away to contribute and show their support for a family we all love immensely.
With many unexpected expenses for Whitney going forward, we would like to bless the Ypma family by raising funds for them to use at their discretion as needs arise.
