On Monday, May 23, 2022, Whitney was looking forward to a good week, after dropping Lilly off for her first day back at school, post a second bout with COVID. Whitney then went over to check on Patrick. When she arrived, she found that he was no longer with us. The realization that this going to be the toughest week of her life, quickly set in.
Over the course of the week, Whitney had to do many hard things. Things she had no preparation for. Things she couldn’t imagine having to do. Things she just did not want to do. But the hardest thing of all, was telling three-year-old Lilly that “Daddy will always love you and be with you, even though you can’t see him.”

As friends and family, we know there will be many more tough decisions and conversations that Whitney will have to navigate. Chief among them is managing finances. Due to Patrick’s gut-wrenching and untimely death, Whitney will be solely responsible for a $15,000 lease. She will also be solely responsible for Lilly’s daycare and other expenses for learning and development.
Will you please join us in supporting Whitney and Lilly by giving whatever you can (and by sharing with as many people as possible) to raise $30,000 to cover the cost of the lease and help them through this transition?
