My brother-in-law’s home in West Allis and car were flooded by the torrential rains in the Milwaukee area on 8/9/25. The water reached 3ft up the side of his house, broke a basement egress window, and flooded to the basement ceiling and almost into the first floor. A section of the foundation gave way and the house is unsafe to inhabit. Furnace, water heater, washer/dryer, and his car are all a total loss. The house may well be too. He and his 3 cats are currently displaced. Insurance has told him they will not cover the flood damage. Any help would be appreciated!
