My husband Wesley suffered a gunshot wound to the head and is now hospitalized two hours away from our family. The doctors told us he might not make it through the first night, but I turned to prayer and asked others to join in a prayer chain for him. By the grace of God, Wesley has made it two and a half weeks so far, and the doctors are calling it a miracle. He has already undergone a craniotomy to relieve pressure and swelling in his brain, and while his progress is inspiring, we know the road ahead will be long and challenging.
Being so far from home has made this time even more difficult. Our funds are running low, and soon we will have no way to travel to be with Wesley as he continues to fight and heal. I am reaching out for help with travel expenses for the next few months, so our family can stay by his side and support him through every step of his recovery. Your prayers and any support you can offer mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity. He's a husband, he's a father of 4, and a paw-paw to 4 little ones, who all adore him.
Thank you for reading our story and for considering helping our family during this incredibly hard time. We believe that God is in control and working on Wesley, and with your support, we can continue to be there for him as he heals.
