I’m not someone who’s ever been comfortable asking for help like this, and to be honest, it’s not easy for me to put this out there. My dad, Wesley Unger, is going through a really tough fight right now with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) and chemotherapy, and it’s been hard watching someone you love go through something like that. He’s the kind of person who is always willing to help anyone, no questions asked. And now that he’s the one going through something like this, I just want to be able to help him the way he’s always there for others. I wish I was in a position to take care of all of this myself so he wouldn’t have to worry about any of it, but right now I’m just trying to do whatever I can to make things a little easier on him and take some of the financial stress off his shoulders so he can focus on getting through this.
