It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Wayne Gray today, 2/22/26 This is a difficult and emotional time for our family as we try to process this loss. Wayne lived a life that was not always easy. He carried a lot of trauma and faced many struggles over the years, including time in and out of prison and battles with recovery. His journey was complicated, and so was his story. While he wasn’t always someone you could rely on, he was still family, and he did love us in his own way. At this time, we are not releasing details about what happened because we truly do not know yet. We are waiting on the autopsy report and hoping for answers. We ask for patience and understanding as we navigate both grief and uncertainty. No matter the challenges, losing him is painful. Grief is complicated when someone’s life was complicated, but it is grief just the same. We are mourning the loss of a son, a brother, an uncle, a father, and a grandfather but most of all a human being who mattered. We are currently trying to raise $2,000 through GoFundMe to help cover the costs of cremation and a memorial service. We want to give him a simple, respectful goodbye. If you are able to donate or share, it would mean a great deal to our family during this time. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered prayers, and shown support. Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts as we wait for answers and prepare to lay Wayne to rest.
