Walter Groves Jr passed away this morning at the age of 46 in Albany, Oregon, after a long and courageous battle with Crohn’s disease and colitis. For many years, Walter faced his illness with strength and resilience, but sadly, he lost his battle yesterday. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends, who remember him as a loving father, son, brother, cousin, and friend.

Walter’s family is now facing the difficult task of saying goodbye and honoring his memory. The funds raised will be used to help cover funeral expenses, provide a headstone, and support the travel needed to bring Walter to his final resting place at the Groves family cemetery in Mount Nebo, Snow Hill, West Virginia. There, he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved grandparents, Harry and Sayoko Groves, continuing a family tradition that means so much to those he leaves behind.

Walter is survived by his twin boys, a daughter, his mother and father, a younger brother, and three younger sisters, all of whom are grieving the loss of their beloved family member.
