The Waldo family needs us in multiple ways right now! Wally was taken to the vet on Monday with terrible pain. He has fluid in his heart, an enlarged liver, and metastasis in his lungs. He sees a cardiologist tomorrow to perform an echo, expecting to find the primary tumor, bleeding, in his heart. Depending on what they see, the current plan is to have the fluid taken off his heart, but it is a ticking time bomb that will fatally bleed or rupture at any given time. Wally is happy, eating, wagging his tail, and his family can not fathom euthanasia… while they also can not allow a painful fatal crisis. Please join them in praying for a miracle, peace, clarity, wisdom, comfort, etc for Wally and the Waldo family.

Just a week ago today, I walked with Faith and Wally on our usual long, happy, pup cup walk. Faith promised after her recovery from a MAJOR surgery that we would be at it again. The timing is emotionally, physically, and financially straining. Faith is a week out tomorrow and should still be in bed recovering but now goes wherever Wally is. The Waldo family is grateful for the meals and love but the financial burden is growing. Ken is on FMLA to take care of the boys and Faith after her surgery.

Faith is being dropped off to sit all day with ice and ibuprofen at the vet tomorrow (Thursday 10/2) as they don’t know when the cardiologist comes - send strength and protection her way!
