My name is Vincent, and I’m reaching out during the most difficult time of my life. I have stage 4 colon, liver, and lung cancer. Just last Friday, I learned that my cancer has doubled in size in only three months, and there are no more treatment options left for me. I’m doing everything I can to prepare for what’s ahead, not just for myself, but for my children, who mean the world to me.
My daughter is 19 and put her dreams on hold, skipping her first year of college to stay home and care for me when I got sick. She’s been through so much over the past year and a half, showing strength and compassion beyond her years. My son works two jobs to help make ends meet and has supported us more than he realizes. I want to do everything I can to make sure they aren’t left with the heavy burden of medical bills or the pain of planning and paying for a funeral on their own.
I have no insurance policy to help with funeral costs, and I’ve been working hard to pay my medical bills so my children won’t have to. It would mean so much to me to know that I can still help my daughter each month as she pursues her college education, and that my son won’t be overwhelmed by expenses. Any support you can give will help ease their burden and allow me to provide for them, even as I face this difficult journey. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
