Vincent Ruocco was just 7 years old, always happy, smiling, and full of joy. He loved building things—especially with Legos and anything tech-related. Vincent was a smart, outspoken child with a fascination for Tesla, and he always wanted to be called by his full name, never Vin or Little Vincent. He was a cherished member of our Throgs Neck Little League team, where his enthusiasm and bright spirit inspired everyone around him.

Tragically, Vincent passed away in a pool incident, leaving his family and our entire baseball community heartbroken. His parents and two sisters have taken time away from work to be together and support each other during this unimaginable loss. As they face unexpected expenses for food, daily needs, and more, we want to do everything we can to help ease their burden.

This fundraiser was not set up by the family, but by Vincent’s baseball family at Throgs Neck Little League, who are deeply impacted by his loss. We are coming together as a community to support his family in their time of need, just as family should. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and show Vincent’s family that they are surrounded by love and support.
