Early this morning, my friend Vikki was woken up to her husband screaming, 'I'm on fire, I'm on fire.' She rushed downstairs to find him frantically trying to put out his leg, which was engulfed in flames. He was taken to the ICU burn unit in Portland, where he is now receiving critical care. With four kids at home and her husband unable to work, Vikki is facing an overwhelming situation.

The funds raised will help cover living expenses for Vikki and her family, as well as gas money so she can travel back and forth to Portland to be with her husband. This support will make a real difference as they navigate the challenges ahead. On top of everything, Vikki's mom is also in the hospital after a diabetic emergency she didn't know she had, adding even more stress to the family.
