With heavy hearts and unwavering faith, I share our family’s story.

We received devastating news — our father has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat Cancer in November and has been given only days, possibly a weeks left to live. He did his first treatment of chemotherapy and his body couldn't handle it. He was admitted to the hospital in December for 3 weeks and tried physical therapy to get stronger to fo the rest of treatment. During the time he had CT scans and other tests, doctor informed us cancer is spreading throughout his body with multiple tumors. His liver is infected with this disease and causing him fluid around his abdominal and chest. Now he's currently on hospice and fighting for his life.

The pain is overwhelming, but we are holding tightly to our faith, believing that God is near to the brokenhearted and that His presence is carrying us through this storm. In such a short time, our family has faced more heartbreak than we ever imagined.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, asking for Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Please wrap our family in Your loving arms, give us strength for each moment ahead, and comfort us in our grief. We place our trust in You, knowing You are faithful even in the hardest seasons. Amen.
