Hi, my name is Enrique Garcia, and I am from Santa Ana, California. My brother was involved in a horrible freeway accident on Monday, July 18th, 2022, at 9:20 p.m. He was on his way home from work when his work truck got a flat tire in Upland. He pulled over on the side of the freeway and realized he was missing a tool to change the tire, so he called home to ask if anyone could bring the tool to his location. Three of our family members offered to help and drove to Upland from Santa Ana to help change the tire quickly since it was already dark. While my brother and some of our family members were changing out the flat tire, a semi-truck hit them. This accident has devastated my family because we lost a loved one, and three of our other family members are in critical condition. They are fighting for their lives, and now our family is planning a funeral. It is uncertain what the future holds for the rest of our family members in critical condition. Our family is seeking help from our community in helping with funeral and medical costs for the people involved in this tragedy. Our family greatly and deeply appreciates any support from our community.
