Vicky’s resilience and kindness have carried her through so much, and now she’s facing her hardest battle yet. For years, she put her own life on hold to care for our mother during her final years. After our mother passed, Vicky was finally starting to look forward to rebuilding her own life. But life had other plans. Last year, she underwent spinal surgery to address severely degenerated discs, a procedure that left her with partial paralysis on her right side. She was just beginning to adapt to her new reality when she received another devastating blow: a diagnosis of inoperable carcinoma.

Now, Vicky faces six weeks of intensive radiation and chemotherapy, with daily treatments over 100 miles away from home. The physical, emotional, and financial toll is overwhelming. The funds raised here will help cover her travel expenses for treatment, daily living costs, and the many supplemental medical expenses that come with a diagnosis like this.
