Vickie Allen is fighting terminal cancer. Her health declined faster than anyone expected, and she has been hospitalized since mid-January.
The most painful reality isn’t only the diagnosis — it’s being forced to step away from a role she has faithfully carried for many years.
Vickie’s life has revolved around caring for her granddaughter, Veda — her daily constant, her safety, her stability. That foundation changed overnight.
In an instant, the responsibility she had managed for years shifted to family. Her brother Tim Allen, along with Emi and her son, Anthony stepped in immediately to manage expenses and provide care and stability for Veda. As we continue navigating this new reality, the financial weight has grown quickly.
Living expenses and medical care continue to accumulate. At the same time, we are focused on maintaining stability and continuity for Veda during this transition.
We are doing everything we can to give Vickie peace in her final chapter — and to ensure that her greatest worry, Veda, is protected and cared for in the months ahead.
Cancer is relentless.
The costs are real.
The timeline is uncertain.
We considered organizing a traditional benefit, but events take time — and the needs are already here.
If you are able to give, even a small amount makes a meaningful difference.
If you are not in a position to donate, sharing this page is an incredible gift.
For those who are local and would prefer to help in other ways, we are also accepting practical support such as school supplies, spring clothing (including hand-me-downs), and other essentials for Veda. Please reach out directly if you would like more information.
We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness and support during this incredibly difficult time — every prayer, message, and contribution.
