Support for Veteran's Family and Funeral Costs

Veteran family in need of help for funeral expenses and care for only child. Total funeral expenses will be a little under $9,200.

My sister and I went to California as soon as we could to help my mom prepare to move and celebrate my brother's 40th birthday 2 weeks early, since we didn't plan on being in town for his actual birthday. As a fairly successful trip came to an end, the final day turned tragic and quite challenging. My mom fell and broke her hip, requiring surgery and delaying her ability to move to the Midwest with us. Later that same day, our brother passed suddenly and unexpectedly. As a single father, he leaves behind his only son at the age of 16. Any help would be much appreciated as we have to take additional time off from work to deal with all the new arising issues life has brought forward. Our main goals for the funds being raised are to ensure my nephew is taken care of, assist with funeral costs for my brother, and prepare my mom's home for rehabilitation from hip surgery.
