My name is Shamika Robinson, mother of an Armed Forces Veteran and a Memphis Native. My son name is Jaylon Brown, whom served 6years in the Air Force.
On June 18,2025, Jaylon went over to Vietnam to obtain a VISA for school in Thailand. However, he stayed longer than expected due to visiting a Bar nightclub on June 21, 2025, in Vietnam, and someone slipped something in his drink which caused cognitive impairment. He’s not coherent enough to remember anything at the moment.
His father and I are working together with the U.S. Consulate, but there is a delay in due to Jaylon’s memory issues and also a language barrier. He keeps wandering off and they are trying to get him back into custody. We are trying to get him back to the states ASAP, and we’re at the max capacity for resources to help us get him to the hospital and also back home. I have been trying to get an emergency passport to get over there, because he will need assistance with catching three flights to arrive back in the states. So, if you can be of any assistance to help us please we would appreciate it so much.
Thanks greatly,
Shamika Robinson
