My father, Vernon Odom, died suddenly on Nov 18th. He had no insurance and I would like to give him a decent homegoing service. My father had his challenges like most but he was a good man. Before his life was cut short, he changed and became a man of God. He worked hard, was involved with the community and without hesitation was always willing to lend a hand to help others.
At age 64, he also enrolled in college to get his associate degree. Nothing could stop him. Not even the two buses and the 2 mile walk to the school and back in all kinds of weather. After learning of his passing, the family still do not have all the answers as to what led up to it but we are overwhelmed with grief. While grieving, we also have the cost of laying him to rest.
Any support you can offer will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and helping our family through this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
