Our beloved Vera family needs us to ban together during this difficult time. In early September their youngest daughter, Alexa was admitted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for refusing food and water. During her stay, the conditioned worsened to a critical state, and it was evident that she needed long term treatment. Unfortunately, the family and the hospital were unable to find a local facility that would treat someone of her age for an eating disorder. Recently a facility in San Diego, California approved Alexa for treatment. On Thursday, September 26th, she was transferred to the California treatment facility. Mrs. Vera joined her and is planning to stay in San Diego throughout her treatment process. Mr. Vera and family will be traveling back and forth to support Alexa.
