On February 21st, our sweet 10-year-old Vance was involved in a serious accident while riding his bike. He was struck by a side-by-side RZR and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Vance was life-flighted to Las Vegas and is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

He has sustained:

• A skull fracture

• A small brain bleed

• A severe concussion

• A broken clavicle and additional injuries

Right now, he is intubated and under close monitoring as doctors carefully watch for swelling and assess his brain activity. We are taking this one hour at a time and praying for healing and strength.

If you know Vance, you know he is the sweetest boy. He looks up to his big brothers, Jayce and Kayne, and absolutely adores all of his cousins. He has a way of putting a smile on anyone’s face. His kindness and gentle spirit light up every room he walks into.

As Skye and Ricky focus entirely on being by Vance’s side during this critical time, the medical expenses are quickly adding up — including Life Flight transport, intensive care, imaging, and the aftercare and rehabilitation he may need in the weeks and months ahead.

We are asking for support to help ease the financial burden so they can focus solely on Vance’s recovery.
