On Friday, May 15th my beautiful best friend Valeria passed away.

We are all utterly heartbroken and in shock. She just turned 21, and just graduated from her dental program. She had so much left to do. I can speak for all of us and say we have no idea how to go on without her.

She was such a beautiful, funny, kind, and loving soul. She was my person. All of her family and friends lost apart of themselves by losing her. There’s a Valeria shaped hole in all of our hearts.

Both Giselle and I were her best friends since middle school and this is something we never imagined happening. It still feels like a nightmare I’m waiting to wake up from.

She is currently in Mexico with her family and we are trying to find a way to get there to say goodbye & attend her service, but money is tight & flights are expensive. We have to get emergency passports because we didn’t have one prior to this. We of course also want to provide for her family who is completely broken by this tragedy and can use any support they can get.

Any donations are extremely appreciated and even if you can’t donate, don’t feel guilty. All we ask is to keep Valeria alive and with you always. Keep telling stories about her and finding her in everything you do.
