My name is Lauren, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend, Valeria, and her beautiful family.

Valeria is a 33-year-old mother of six incredible children, ranging in age from just 1 year old to 16. In August of 2025, Valeria received the devastating diagnosis of lung cancer. Since then, she has fought with incredible strength and determination, completing 20 rounds of treatment in hopes of slowing the disease. Sadly, during a doctor’s appointment on March 10th, Valeria and her family were given heartbreaking news — the cancer has continued to spread throughout her body and is now considered terminal.

As most mothers would understand, Valeria’s greatest fear isn’t for herself. It’s the thought of leaving her children behind too soon. Her entire world revolves around them, and she continues to fight every day with their love in her heart. While I cannot take away the pain or change the outcome of this diagnosis, I want to do whatever I can to help ease the burden on her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Valeria’s father has stepped in as the sole provider, working tirelessly to care for her and help support her children. The financial strain during a time like this can be overwhelming, and my hope is that this fundraiser can provide some relief — helping with medical expenses, household needs, and giving this family the ability to focus on what truly matters: spending precious time together.
