Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

My name is Dominik, and I am writing this on behalf of my girlfriend and her beloved mother, who is currently fighting through one of the most painful and life-changing challenges of her life.

Her mother, a warm-hearted and caring woman from the Philippines, was recently hospitalized due to severe complications from diabetes. Unfortunately, the situation escalated rapidly, and doctors have now confirmed that her leg must be amputated in order to save her life.

This news has devastated the family emotionally and financially.

In the midst of this, we are doing everything we can to support her recovery, both physically and mentally. But the costs of medical treatment, hospital care, medication, mobility equipment, and home adjustments are overwhelming – and must be paid privately. On top of this, we had to cancel planned travel and accommodation for my girlfriend’s graduation, which we can no longer refund.
