Certainly, one of the most difficult and embarrassing steps for a human being is having to request financial assistance to cover excessive medical expenses. This “torturous” process is more difficult and embarrassing than people can imagine.

After suffering 3 heart attacks and having 7 stents implanted, all the doctors I consulted agree that it is urgent to undergo open heart surgery to remove all those stents and have the bypass procedure done.

On the other hand, and despite the success of the surgery I had on July 3 at the Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX, where another new stent was implanted in my left renal artery, it was blocked again and I will have to undergo surgery again on January 15 of next year, since it is too high a risk to undergo surgery again right now.

Como estoy seguro de que muchos de ustedes saben, las dificultades financieras nos pueden generar mucho estrés en el proceso de cirugía y recuperación. Ciertamente, una de las gestiones más difíciles y embarazosas para el ser humano es tener que solicitar ayuda económica para poder cubrir los excesivos gastos médicos. Este “tortuoso” proceso es más difícil y vergonzoso de lo que la gente se pueda imaginar.

Luego de sufrir 3 ataques al corazón, y de que se me implantaran 7 stents, todos los medicos consultados coinciden en que es urgente someterme a cirugía de corazón abierto para eliminar todos esos stents y hacerme el procedimiento de los bypass.

Por otro lado, y a pesar del éxito en la cirugía que tuve el pasado 3 de julio en el Metropolitan Methodist Hospital de San Antonio, TX, donde se me implantó otro nuevo stent en la arteria renal izquierda, esta se bloqueó nuevamente y me van a tener que someter a cirugía otra vez el 15 de enero del próximo año, ya que es muy alto el riesgo someterme a cirugía a nuevamente ahora mismo.

Es por esta razón, que apelo a tu noble corazón, para que con tu contribución me puedas ayudar a poder operarme y conseguir así nuevamente el privilegio de gozar de salud, gracias a este esperado milagro.
