i just want to start this off by saying that i am not the kind of person who even feels comfortable asking for money, but i am in a bind and am doing this in hopes to raise enough to ease the burden of what has been happening to me recently.

i lost my job late 2024, and it took almost a year for me to finally find a new one. to make ends meet, i started doing uber eats. my new job doesn’t pay enough to deal with all of my bills, so i still do food delivery as much as i can.

new years eve started out just like any regular day. i was hopeful for the new year, and i thought I would get a jump start by driving uber for a few hours to earn maybe $100 before heading home to stay safe in the evening.

unfortunately, this did not go according to plan, and i was involved in a minor accident while delivering food. to top it all off, my check engine light went on. i do not have the money for the car repairs, insurance deductible, and the increase in my car insurance premium.

i had hoped to drive uber enough to make the money to repair my car in a timely fashion, but now that i have these additional unforeseen bills, i am asking for help to cover all of it. thank you so much for your donation and your time reading my story. happy new year!
