Support for Ukraine's Mental Health & Wellbeing

Tax deductible
Dear Friends,

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! It also marks the one-year anniversary of First Aid of the Soul (FAS), a 501(c)3 non-profit [EIN 88-1464538] focused on providing culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed mental health care to those impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In honor of these two events, we invite you to help us raise $25,000 in the month of May. This funding will enable us to continue providing integral mental health services to Ukrainians living through this horrific war.

To date, FAS has:

  • Reached over 500 Ukrainian mental health professionals monthly
  • Offered up to 10 weekly supervision & support groups for mental health professionals & other Ukrainians affected by the war
  • Delivered 48 workshops & trainings geared towards mental health professionals serving displaced people in Ukraine
  • Trained over 50 mental health professionals–stationed internationally– to deliver culturally-sensitive mental health services to Ukrainians
  • Recruited over 500 volunteers interested in supporting FAS in a variety of ongoing capacities

Your contributions to our May fundraising campaign will help FAS continue to offer a wide array of mental health services and also expand on our offerings. A few examples of where your contributions could be allocated include:

  • $25 helps fund art supplies & resources for groups
  • $75 helps fund our translations support services
  • $150 helps fund our support & supervision groups
  • $250 helps fund our trainings & workshops

Every contribution counts and will help us continue delivering on our core mission– providing accessible, culturally-sensitive mental health support to Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced populations, and offering hope in the midst of this ongoing crisis.

Thank you for all your support in making what we do possible!

Sincerest regards and gratitude,
The FAS Team
