It breaks my heart to even write this, let alone ask for help. I’m a mother of two little boys, and on June 10, 2025, both of my sons—ages 9 and 7—were involved in a devastating accident.

They were life-flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital and placed in the ICU.

My 9-year-old suffered a skull fracture extending from the back of his head to his facial bones, bleeding from his ears, a brain bleed, blood in his lungs, severe road rash, and brain swelling.

My 7-year-old also has a brain bleed and extensive road rash.

Their dad and I have not left their sides, and right now, there is no clear timeline for when they’ll be released.

As many of you know, life flight and ICU care are incredibly expensive—especially for two children. We’re facing a long road ahead, physically, emotionally, and financially.
